GIBBSTON FOOD AND WINERY FESTIVAL: (21ST MARCH)
Gibbston food and winey festival is brought to you by the wineries, presenting their best wines in Queenstown gardens. Food stalls are also setup for people, all at one easy location. It allows people to mix together, chat and enjoy their food and wines, along with special master classes and light humming of music with separate area for children.
ARROWTOWN AUTUMN FESTIVAL: (10TH-19TH APRIL)
Arrowtown festival is the most exciting festival of all. This 10 day festival offers more than 50 events happening at a time. The scenery on the other hand is another attraction for visitors. There is a street parade, arts and craft market, ball, daily street entertainment, guided historical walks, Pie and Pint Festival, aerobatic display, art exhibition, vintage car rally, jazz, gold panning, lots of live music… and much more.
HUGHLAND RACE TO THE SKY: (17TH-19TH APRIL)
All of the drivers for this event compete for the king of the mountain title, racing one of the longest gravel hill climb.

Ski passes can be bought from any nearby market area, but for instance if someone couldn’t manage to buy it on time, they could buy after they have reached to their skiing destination. Passes can be bought from a single day to season skiing allowing our visitors to unlimited sport fun.
Helisking is another exciting and blood pumping activity done here. Queenstown has an easy flying distance, offering one of the best heli-skiing and heli-boarding routes. Snowboarding is offered at Queenstown with professional trainees to guide our beginners. The scenery during skiing and other sports is as remarkable as the sport itself. Just if you are not in the mood for any kind of adrenaline rush activity, you can simply accompany a guided tour to the beautiful mountains and lakes around our resort, or opt for a snowmobile tour. DRIVE TO GLENORCHY: situated on a 45 minute drive, the road trip from Queenstown to glenorchy lets you look deep into the beauty of lake and mountains around. Surrounded by Lake Wakatipu this road tour gives you a calm and serene feeling throughout your journey. While on a long journey one could stop and relax or does a lakeside walk such as bobs clove walk. While driving you may get to see white snowy mountains, depending on the season you choose for your Queenstown scenic drive (winters and springs are the best seasons to view snowy peaks). But nevertheless, arrowtown has to offer the autumn festival in autumn season also you can visit lake Hayes while going to arrowtown whereas; you can enjoy the roadside tour ROARING MEG’ when travelling from Queenstown to Cromwell.
